MN Events on TBA?

I was wondering if the results from the 2014 MN off-season events have been recorded and whether or not they were going to be added to Thebluealliance.com? I noticed neither the MN State Championship nor MRI was added. I realize a lot of off-season events aren't recorded on TBA but I feel as though, especially in the case of an event as significant as the MN State Championship, they should be documented. This easily accessible documentation makes it so much easier when talking about an accomplishment at an event be it with a sponsor or anybody who might be interested. If the information is out there and it's a matter of taking the time to do it, then I'd be happy do it. I would just need somebody to steer me in the right direction.

In most cases TBA is crawling some publicly available records such as those on FIRST's website or via the FRC twitter feed. Since there are no match results, rankings, or other such records out there for MSHSL State Champs or any of the other MN events (that I've seen ...), you'd have to talk to the event organizers to see if these can be released.

Yup, this is how it works. If you can get your hands on the match data from events, post it here and someone will get it imported to TBA.

I'll talk with the FTA at Prior Lake in a few weeks to see if I can get a dump of that event... The other ones are probably too long ago to resurrect at this point.

Assuming I can get the data, I'll figure out a way to have it posted to mnfirst.org before states next year... Hopefully threes we can have add the events next year posted.

Gitchi Gummi Get Together is a definite no. There was an issue when generating the finals schedule that caused all the elimination data to disappear.

MRI is a possibility- I think someone (perhaps our FTA) has a flash drive with the data. I also heard that FIRST wanted the match results from these offseasons from the host team, but I'm not sure if that happened.

If you want the data on TBA, they have a Facebook group for adding data.

In general, the first hurdle to getting match results to auto update on TBA is to get the FMS posting to Twitter. This is usually difficult because we don't always have an internet connection at offseason events.
