how to change orientation of text in Inventor?
Hey,
I'm designing a driverstation with Inventor 2014 and I'm trying to add text (ilite 1885 ilite) to a part, I can add text bu when I do it is going the wrong way. I tried looking it up online but I always get answers about dimension text. When I open the "edit Text" box, I cannot edit the rotation. I have no clue what to do, does anybody know?! Thanks a lot |
Re: how to change orientation of text in Inventor?
Hi stephen,
If I understood you correctly, your text is oriented in the wrong direction(ie. top to bottom, upside down, etc). That is mainly caused because you aren't looking at your part the correct way. You can know that by looking at the 'Viewcube' at the top right side of your screen. If the text there isn't oriented correctly, then you simply aren't looking at the object the correct way. In order to rotate the text, while in Sketch Mode you can simply use the Rotate function in the Modify tab at the top of your work area, when you click it a window will open where you'll choose what geometry you'd like to rotate (your text) and around what point. Hope it helped! -Guy |
