Hey everyone--

Just wanted to hand in a thanks to our alliance partners teams 263, 353, 250, & 533 for doing an awesome job and helping us all win gold at LongIsland..

As the scores showed, Long Island got off to a slow start... even for us.. but by the end of the day Friday we were all working better together and by Saturday the competition was going well.. Team 340 (Grrr) with a great two goal balancer claimed Number 1 seed with a score of 348 in the last match of the day...

And the road to the finals wasn't easy.. a score of 480 was beaten with 490pts and a nice human player shot..

It may have been slow starting.. but the semis and finals were nothing to write off... At a regional with mainly rookie teams.. it was an impressive and ever-improving effort on everyone's part..

Look for some good teams to come out of this LI regional..

Congrats to all-- and thanks to our partners.. we went out with a plan.. we fought hard... executed and worked exactly like a team should.. See you at nationals :)

(.. and who says Hampster power doesn't work?!? Whatnot has two trophys sitting in her cage.. :)

It was nice to meet and compete with the spider goat team at the LI Regionals. I don't know what you're feeding that hampster but it sure does work!!

If we had to get beaten in the semis I'm glad our alliances at least provided the crowd with the matches of the weekend. We've made a few adjustments and additions to the RedJAmmers robot "EInstein" and we are ready for Florida. Now we can toggle the bridge both ways and also wedge the bridge for our teamates to balance. Hopefully we can at least meet up in a qualifier and see what king of havoc we can wreak!

Now we just have to start feeding our operators whatever it is that Whatnot eats and see what happens.

Thansk again!

Try sunflower seeds, lettuce, lots of water, and cheerios. That seems to be the correct combination that I've developed over 7 years of rodent care.
