Motor Control Help

I have programmed in Labview the last 2 years and have been successful. This year we cannot figure out how to use motor control with the new changes. We are also looking at using C++. We would really appreciate some guidance, resources, or example codes. Thank you.

http://wpilib.screenstepslive.com/s/4485 that is a great resource for help in programming, they have a few examples for each component
