You do not need a student email address anymore.

Or you can join 4H. We don't build at the school. So if school has been cancelled we can still work on the robot.
Last year I think we missed one day of build because of snow.
We had a record snow season last year.

Usually when we have a delay or cancelation we decide as a group to meet or not

Programmers can use GitHub to edit code from home. Nothing needed except a browser and an account.

Obv can't compile or build, but it's a start. Not sure if you can create new classes though.

I would suggest that you look around and find out if any of the other teams in your area ARE meeting. Teams meet in different places and sometimes they find ways to do things.

I would bet that they wouldn't mind having you meet with them.
I know that if you were in Seattle we would be happy to have you come over. I am sure many other teams out here would do that too... you might be able to find something where you are.

You might also find a local pizza place or something that would allow you to use a room to get together and work out drawings (real pencil and paper stuff) and to discuss strategies.

You might contact local area churches or gyms or something and explain your plight and ask if you could meet there.

I know it can't be an "official" meeting because of school but things can be done.

I am sorry that your season has gotten off to a slow start. I wish you all the best!!

Good luck

The tools to compile are all free for languages not LV. And LV allows unlimited seats if I recall. So I don't see why they couldn't compile.

Testing is another story.
