Has anyone tried/managed to get 2015 java code to run on last year's cRIO for FRC?
The title says it all. The 2015 update pack still has the imaging tool for the cRIO and I successfully updated it. Not sure where to go from there.

The roboRIO runs Linux and Java SE Embedded, both of which cannot run on the cRIO (well they *possibly* could, but I wouldn't recommend trying it). The Java VM on the cRIO only runs a very limited version of Java 3.

If you are wanting to program the cRIO with Java you will need to grab a copy of Netbeans and the 2014 FRC Java Plugins. As lopsided98 pointed out, the setup for programming the roboRIO with Java is quite different and will not work on the cRIO.

I would put the 2014 image back on it for Java. The 4 slot CRIOs can be programed in the new Labview & I expect that is what the 2015 update is for.
