D-Link will not configure

I cannot configure with d-link wireless bridge with the labview configuration utility. I continuously get the error: "Bridge configuration failed: Failed to Change IP address. Please ensure the bridge is connected and try again." I have tried changing the netowrk interfaces amongst ethernet, ethernet 2 ,and wireless with no luck. If you have any suggestions or thoughts, please comment.

Which revision hardware? We had the same message for our revA radios, but our revB worked fine.

For now we're using revB only. We still can't figure out how to make revA work.

Is the radio in 'bridge' mode? There is a switch on the back for this.

Have you tried with another computer? One of my teams had this problem on the driver station laptop, but it worked fine on another laptop.

Might try running the program as 'Administrator'. Also try turning off the firewall. Reset the router with a paper clip and try again.

This helped us.:) The FRC Bridge Configuration Utility needed to be Run as an Administrator. The executable files is a little hard to find so I did a search for it in one of the Programs folders. Right clicked on the file and selected properties > under the Compatibility tab you can select "Run This Program as an Administrator".

We also Reset the router (by holding down the reset button for ten seconds) and made sure that the laptop was was set to "Obtain an IP Address automatically" and "Obtain DNS server address automatically" (the old way required us a to set a static IP.. The Configuration Utility will now give you an IP that goes along with you team number) I also made some Firewall setting changes.
