Re: Autonomous Strategy
I like to hope they can at least move forward, but yes you could. I would be impressed with a robot that can move all three totes, and all three bins, but its possible :]

Think about how rare it was in 2012 to have 2 robots feed their pre-loads into the 3rd who shot all 6. That happened an extremely low number of times. Thiw would be much more difficult to coordinate than that was. I hope teams with only so much resources (everyone is limited on time) do not invest a lot on creating multiple routines to specifically tailor to this. I have a feeling your effort may go to waste. |

Re: Autonomous Strategy
The Q&A really fleshed out the auton ability shout out to that.
I am sad you can't make more then one container set though. |
Re: Autonomous Strategy
I find the idea extraordinarily attractive, but to be realistic, would probably not work out.
The fact of the matter is this: Each team should at least be able to put one yellow tote into the zone, and thus collectively gain points for the alliance. However, it would not be a bad idea to at least program your robot to find a second yellow tote, and stack on top of that one. This way, even if the third member doesn't quite fit the bill, you still should have a stack of at least 2. |
