Ekocycle 3D Printer

My FTC team finally got there Ekocycle 3D printer a few days ago and I finally got around to testing it before I let the students go wild with it. I am using Auto CAD Inventor 2014. I made a simple test cube, the dimensions being 0.5" x 0.5" x 0.5". I save the assembly file then I converted it to a .stl file so that I could upload it to the Cubify program and transfer it to the Ekocycle printer. When I went to print the test cube it asked me if the file was saved in inches or millimeters. I chose inches and noticed that it said the dimensions of my cube was 1.34" x 1.34" x 1.34". I printed the file thinking it was an error never the less the piece came out at the wrong size. I went back and check the measurements in the .slt file and the cube was 0.5" x 0.5" x 0.5". Any suggestions as to what I am doing wrong?

Double check what dimensions are getting output by Inventor 2014. Just because the part was built in units of inches doesn't mean the .stl output was inches. When you save the file:

Export-->CAD File, select .stl, then click "Options". Ensure "Units" is inches or mm, not cm

To export I went under File ->Export -> CAD File then I use the drop down and hit .stl. Is there another way of exporting that I am missing?

Oh I see it now! I was exporting in centimeters. Silly me... Thanks for the help. :D

I tried converting to .STL by that method, and even with the units correct in the .ipt it still up-scaled the part. Inventor has a tool just for generating .STL's for 3D printing.
