Digital Module Power Issue

We have a photoswitch diffuse sensor that uses at least 11V of power to run. The sidecar D I/O on our robot only provides 5V. Is there a way to change this or does the digital module only supply 5V to each component?

You can't get 12v from the roboRIO, but there's nothing preventing you from powering the sensors off of the 12v rail of the VRM.
