A snow plow.

But on a more realistic note, nothing I want to get rusty.

Didn't go to our team meeting today because I was out of town but if I had: 2008 Scion XB. I like to think it stands for XBox because that's what it looks like.

I'm seeing a pattern - CD people seem to go for some combination of economy, muscle, and dependability. Not really surprising, as I think on it.

Re: What did you drive to the robot meeting today?

I drive a "classic" Mercedes Benz. It's a 1979 240D, and you can feel the 62 horsepower surging beneath you inside the 2.4 liter diesel engine. With a blazing 0-60 time of ~.27 minutes, topping out at the mind-boggling speed of 84 mph, I don't know how people manage to keep up with me. My head mentor has a Dodge Viper, but must be too afraid of losing to drag race me since it's never happened! :p

On the plus side, I never have to worry about getting a speeding ticket on Wyoming highways or burning my tires out at a stoplight if I release the clutch too quickly, and I get the "thrill" of driving with wide open throttle most of the time. Just don't turn on the fan (heat only, it has 4/60 air conditioning) if you want to reach highway speeds. It did open up the door for a lot of puns this year since I was the team driver last year and the game involves stacking bins. "I've been practicing for the game all year, driving my Mercedes 'Bins'!"

Here's what the car looks like (not the actual car):

My 2006 Prius with 120,000 miles, still humming along. With the windows down and the breeze blowing, under sunny Kauai skies. :p

But hubby was cooler in his '74 VW Thing.

Waits for Dave Lavery to post a picture of one of his rovers....or drones...

Mines a 96 Chevy s10 with way over 200,000 miles on it and it does haul
a lot of robot parts (and sometimes robots) I used to have a 94 s10 before
that until i got tired of repairing it after 7 robotics seasons and over 400,000
miles.
