Using The Ekocycle

We have just gotten our Ekocycle and tried to start using it immediately. We had a cube from last years First choice so we knew how to use it. After trying to use thingiverse and download something cool for the first print, we noticed it stopped spitting out filament about a quarter of the way through. Has anyone had this problem. Plus does anyone know exactly how to set multicolored prints. And is there many free designs made for cube like thingiverse has or do you need to download through thingiverse and just bring it into the cube software.

Re: Using The Ekocycle

My suggestion would be to remove the cartridge and reinstall it. I have only used the Cube but the two main problems are either the filament is stripped and can't feed properly, or the filament breaks in the tube and the printer can only extrude the length that broke off. The latter is usually caused by the PLA drawing moisture from the air which increases brittleness.

is it with the red or white the natural cartridge? We had problems with are red cartridge and we had to dissemble it a little to make it work. it was a similar problem. Private message me if you need some more details and such.
