Constant running motor
1 Attachment(s)
Our team is having issues with controlling a new motor. We followed an example online and CAN control the motor, but when you take your hand off the control, the motor is spinning. We switched controllers just in case with no luck.
What in our program here could be causing this? |
Re: Constant running motor
You need to remove the '0' you have at the top (and leave the terminal disconnected).
If you look inside the Joystick "Get Values" function, you will see that the value received from the joystick is divided by this value. And since you cannot divide by 0, LabVIEW calls this infinity. Finally it puts it in the 1 to -1 range, so it will always output '1', which is full speed forward. |
