Team 461 is in need of a 100k slide pot for our robot

Have you tried Digikey or Mouser Electronics?

www.digikey.com
They have a good supply of things, most are usually in stock, and they can ship fairly quickly.

We bought some from Digi-key but never used them. Check the size before you order, and remember it may be in milimeters.
