Sorry. Saw Jessica's post and I couldn't resist. But really, what're the chances of him understanding after doing work for BattleBots?

On a completely unrelated note, I hope our team gets the divsional field that Blair whatshisname is calling. He did the play-by-play at the LoneStar regional, and IMHO is the best play-by-play guy that FIRST has. Anybody else partial to a particular announcer?

I had the privledge of sitting next to Blair Hundertmark at the Motorola MidWest. He calls the game like no one I've heard. I'm pretty sure he's been at all the MMR's....puts Costas, et al. to shame in my opinion...Although I must say Dr. Jack Ramsey and Eric Reid (Miami Heat's local TV announcers) call a Great b-ball game...These are about the only 3 announcers I'd Never use the mute button on.

John Madden and G.Gumble Always get the mute button in my house.

I think,

That there is a guy from DEKA who has been doing it since the NHC days...whoever that is is my favorite.

For years including two regionals and the Nationals in 1997 it was, I believe, Ray Cox. Now FIRST has a number of them. All of them that I have heard this year are very good.
