FRC spyder/Tracker for 2015?
 

Now that build season is done, I'm looking ahead to competitions and really enjoyed using FRC spyder and FRC tracker last season.

Can we expect new versions of these great apps (or something similar) for this season? Does anyone have an ETA?

Sounds like a good app, but I have an iphone (one of the few times I might wish for Android :-)). I guess I'll just have to wait for spyder or tracker 2015.

Bumping - to see if anyone has heard anything...getting nervous that there is still no update, and we go to competition in 3 days.

The plan is to get the Android version of Spyder released this week before competitions start. I'll let Dave comment on the availability of the iOS version.

The reason we're late this year, and probably the reason that Tom hasn't released FRC Tracker yet, is because FIRST was ridiculously slow releasing details for their new event results API and getting a test server online - it only came online in the past few days and still isn't populated with much data. As soon as our own server is up and pulling data from FIRST, I'll publish Android Spyder.

Thanks for the update Mike. Hopefully Dave and Tom can get the iOS versions updated super quickly as I believe it takes a couple of days to get through the Apple checks before it is released. We are competing starting Friday and I don't know how to track anything without these apps :-).

Don't take this as complaining, but more as a sign of how vital your work is to the FRC community that we can't imagine a competition without your amazing tools :-). We really, really appreciate your work on these making the information so easily available to everyone. Even if we don't have anything for week 1, we are very grateful for the time you dedicate to the whole FRC community in these amazing apps.
