Looks like a solid robot, and please buy your video crew several cookies. They've earned it.

Great bot and great video. Really. Liked the dramitc feel with the cinematic aspect ration. You guys must have some serious cameras. Looks to me like that was shot with a c100 a go pro and some l glass.

You can buy a constant force spring off scorpion springs or any other company. But they also come in the kit of parts for some regions

Very high quality reveal video and robot. I liked the explanations from the students.

Nice work.

I have been eagerly awaiting your video, just as I do every year.

Well thought out design and excellent workmanship, as usual. It also looks like your driver is already pretty practiced. This should be a beast on the field.

What is the winch at 0:27 for? Your Crossbow?

It was for an earlier version of the crossbow. It's no longer on the robot :)

Very Nice, At 1:40 in the Video the programmer (IAN) talks about the Gyro that is used. The Navix? I think-- Can you tell me where to get one as we are having repeat issues with the one from First Choice.
Thanks

That container grasping mechanism is outstanding, Great job!

sethj 20-02-2015 14:54

Love your method of grabbing the bins from the middle! We were going to try something similar but the mechanism put us over the weight limit so it didn't get implemented. Yours looks like it doesn't weigh much at all :D

Amazing video btw, very well done.
