Actually, I did. Concerned about field reset affecting my cycle times I built a thing I call a "Tote Goat", which is a wheeled wooden contraption that can let a single person move 15 to 20 totes easily.

So if this is the year of the wood goat, I find that very auspicious.

So married folks can't operate your device? That seems unnecessary.

Now it's time to start the debate about whether or not a sheep is a goat...

Re: Year of the Goat

山羊

Put "goat" into Google Translate and you get the characters above (Shānyáng).

However, many Chinese language explanations of the 12 year animal zodiac cycle list 2015 +/-12N as the year of 羊 (Yáng), for which Google Translate returns "sheep".

Hence the confusion. I've traveled in China for business, a few times. This translation confusion is typical of many examples I have seen.

I propose we call it the year of the "sheep, goat, ram, whatever"

This debate totes floats my goats, and I have notes and quotes to prove it. Maybe we should take votes?

As well as witches, gravy, very small rocks, and oh yes - a duck (or perhaps a barbary hen).

Agreed. Even though it turned me into a newt, it just might possibly be a violation of G16 (G)
