The mechanum wheels lifting the recycling container inside the gripper is one of the most clever design choices I've seen all year.

That recycling container pickup is awesome. I love the degrees of freedom you have with it, and the mecanum wheels are amazing as well.

At around the 30 second mark I noticed the mecanums on the intake and thought to myself, "why would anyone put mecanums on an intake like that?"...and now I see why :D

While I'll never understand Florida's obsession with mecanum drivetrains...that claw left me speechless. Great robot and great song.

Reminds me of Spectrum's effective mecanum intake last year.

(Disclaimer: I have an irrational bias against mecanum drivetrains in general, regardless of the game.)

Wow. That claw has amazing maneuverability, and very clever use of the mecanum wheels. Can't wait to hopefully compete with/against you guys at bayou! It's always nice to have some Florida friends come up for the competition.
