I feel like I've seen one of those autonomous modes somewhere before...

Great robot as usual. Would be amazing to get to play with 1986 again sometime.

So glad we still get to compete with Titanium again this year even though you won't be in KC. Awesome bot as always! I'm looking forward to seeing what ends up attached to that back elevator in Arkansas. I'm guessing that some containers are going to get grabbed.

Good luck and see you next week!

Stax looks very polished with lots of intricate details on the practice and final robot.

I'm looking forward to see how it holds up at Arkansas !

How did you guys get your wheel tote grabbing arms to work so brilliantly well? We have a similar motored design, but it isn't nearly as good. How do they move so slowly and in unison?

I like how quickly you're able to drop stacks. I've seen a lot of quick pickups, but not as much as quick dropping.

Also the ability to flip totes to face the right way with the wheeled grabber is very cool. Should prove to be very useful.

The intake wheels are driven at a modest speed by two relatively powerful motors (RS775's on 64:1 Banebots planetaries) This gives a strong and steady traction speed with no stalling, which provides the performance you mentioned. Excess speed can lead to slippage, and lack of traction torque.
