Sending images to the Dashboard?
 

This year we have done our vision processing on the robot,
how can I see the annotated image and the binary image on the dashboard?
In other words: How can I send images to the dashboard?

Are you using a USB camera or a network one?

It's often easier to have the robot send the annotation info -- coordinates, text, etc. -- to the Dashboard program (using Network Tables or a custom UDP connection) and let the laptop do the actual annotation of the image. That is definitely the case for a network camera.

I'm also interested in doing this as a quick way to calibrating gains.
