Roughly the same for us too. We wondered why they fell so far in the draft.

This happens way too often. At Mt Olive, one of the highest robots on our list fell to the middle of the second round. They would go on to win the event.

3974 was getting a little nervous during alliance selections. (A little nervous... not too much.) Our lead mentor was giddy when he saw us fall all the way back to the 4th-seed alliance and the students from 1712 and 4373 high-fiving and laughing before they even made their pick.

Both the quarterfinal and semifinal matches were nerve-racking. (At one point it looked the the difference between advancing and not advancing to the semifinals would be 0.5 points.) Kudos to the drive teams from 3974, 1712, and 4373 for doing such a good job and continuing to adapt their strategy in each round. (Their semifinal average was 22 points higher than our quarterfinal average!)

Congratulations to the winning alliance of 225, 1218, and 204. Tech Fire was impressive all weekend, that very cool "double stacker" that could pick up two totes either longways or sideways was a nifty piece of engineering. And as fantastic as that robot was, 1218 might have been even more impressive by the time the final matches rolled around, easily scoring two tall, capped stacks.

225 and 1712 - See you at Upper Darby! Good luck!
