Cheesy Poofs. NASA House teams, unite! (though we are Stennis Space Center, not Ames)

Blue Alliance. I like being the underdog, and the blue bumpers compliment white powdercoat better IMO.

A consistent 28-point auto on an otherwise useless robot, or a robot with no auto that on average scores 25 points, but has been known to score a maximum of 35?

Re: This or That: Robotics Edition 2015

Probably a robot with no auto that on average scores 25 points, but a bot that can score a maximum of 35 would probably be better.

Although if your bot can hit a 28 pt autonomous consistently, I'm sure its not entirely useless in tele-op.

New question: on-board or off-board compressor for a pneumatic system?

Re: This or That: Robotics Edition 2015

On-board. You never have to worry if your air will run out during crunch time in finals.
Joysticks or Game console controllers?

M1KRONAUT 17-04-2015 13:23

Re: This or That: Robotics Edition 2015

Game console controllers! They're what I'm used to (plus easy tank drive).

PID-controlled drive or normal (joystick directly to output) drive?
