from LV or Java to C++ (urgent question)
 

Urgent question - Has anyone switched from LabView or Java to C++ on the robot? Did it require re-imaging? The Eclipse "Run As" feature looks to install the program AND change the startup scripts. I'm thinking re-imaging is unnecessary.

I'm asking this because we have a pit neighbor that really needs new code but I only do C++ (quickly) and re-imaging their roboRio might spook them.

No need to re-image regardless.

Going the other way (text based to LV) requires manually killing the running program or using the "No App" (not actually called that anymore) on the webdashboard.

LV or Java to C++ should be good to go with just a deploy from Eclipse.
