Custom; just some round stock with the urethane on there. Believe the urethane is the standard McMaster stuff. Possible solution for teams like us short on banebot wheels.

The livestream went down for a few minutes, so i didn't see the 208 points from 148.. Did they do 4 stacks of 6 with container on top?
I'm very curious if they will be able to make 4x 36 points stacks on there own @Worlds.
What do u think?

Our team tried something similar but had trouble machining the urethane. Do you know what your team used to machine it?

The tubing is cut and stretched over delrin wheels machined on a CNC mill. A flange added on a lathe. We are fortunate to have a few kids who are very talented on the machines.

I would like to extend a huge congratulations to Danielle on receiving a WFFA today! After talking with you earlier this weekend, it is clear that you absolutely deserve it.

Additionally, I wanted to say thanks to all of the volunteers and the regional planning committee for being so welcoming and friendly! I showed up yesterday as a volunteer at an event that was new to me where I knew no one, and I received an incredibly warm welcome from the nicest group of volunteers I've met yet. Thank you Las Vegas!

Okay one more post... thanks to teams 148 and 987 for graciously sharing so much wisdom with our team members. It was a great learning opportunity for our students and I hope it will help kick-start future successes. You both have some of the nicest mentors and volunteers I have ever met, and I'm really glad we had the opportunity to work with you. Thanks for setting a great example for this young team to strive toward!

Is there video somewhere of this event? I'd love to see some of these matches.

I would like to take this chance to give a huge shout out to our eliminations partners, 4415 and 3495. Even though we were the 7th alliance, we were able to finish 3rd overall in terms of average points. It was a ton of fun to work with you guys and I wish nothing but the best for your teams!

The High Rollers would like to thank our BFFL on 148 for choosing us to join them and 5012 yesterday. We appreciated the opportunity to gain some redemption and also to strengthen the friendships started in Dallas. It has been awesome to see the bonds between our teams form so quickly. This was an especially gratifying win given the struggles we had with our auto routine ( turns out much of the problem was due to a faulty encoder and also a need to add an 1/8" recess to the end bump of our claw grabbing the first can). Amazing what an 1/8" can mean.

Special thanks to 5012's willingness to add 148's brilliant shower curtain noodle blocker and for their assistance acquiring cans. And of course a shout out to our friends on team 60 ( congrats on the EI) and their partners 3309 and 4322 for their great effort. Kudos to all of the great teams and all of the volunteers that continue to make LVR one of the best events around!

1251 had an awesome time at this regional. I would like to thank FIRST Nevada, the volunteers and Team 987 for all the hospitality as well as making this great regional happen. Congrats to the runners up 60, 3309 and 4322 for being excellent all regional long. The winners 148,987 and 5012 were an inspiration to all, good luck in St. Louis. Special shout out to our alliance partners 341 and 4800, we were looking for two robots that could stack and you all exceeded our expectations. Finally, I would like to say on behalf of 5012 HAT, HAT, HAT!!!
