Did anyone by chance record the stream or just record matches. If so can they be uploaded/linked?

Re: 2015 Wisconsin Regional
Hi, coach here.
In regards to alliance selections: Our team has moved over to a digital scouting format in the past year. We have still been working out the bugs and had an unforeseen corruption in our data. Anyone watching would know that there were two declines before First seed invited our team to their alliance. I was looking at FRC Spyder, trying to decide logically what would be the best decision for my team in terms of who we paired with. It took so long because: 1. I was choking, no doubt about it. 2. I had to weigh the repercussions of accepting or declining on our team moving forward into elims. No texts were being sent or received. In the end I decided that it would be best for my team to captain our own alliance, due to having an earlier second pick as captains of the fourth seed alliance. It may have taken a while, but my team unanimously agrees that we made the best decision for ourselves. Props to whoever played the jeopardy theme song while I was chok... deciding. Thanks to 1732 The Hilltoppers and 93 NEW Apple Corps! We had a fantastic alliance and it was a pleasure working with both of you. |
Re: 2015 Wisconsin Regional
I'd like to thank our alliance partners for a great experience. Thank you 2826 (WAVE) for picking us and having faith in our contribution. I'll never forget watching your robot close up in autonomous. 2530(Inconceivable) you rock! Your robot contribution to our alliance was perfect. Not to mention your outstanding human player. Memories were made and friendships were developed. Our team (C.O.R.E. 2062) waited a long time to play with the WAVE in eliminations.it was well worth the wait. See you in St. Louis.
Been told that our combined points of 216 is now the best in the country and second in the world. Will need to verify this but what a great honor to ride the WAVE. Congrats to the Chairman winners, 1306 the BadgerBOTS. What a great team. |
Re: 2015 Wisconsin Regional
Wave Robotics is proud to be bringing back a blue banner for the first time since 2012. In my 15 years of FIRST this was by far the most trying regional that I have ever been to. From having issues getting auto up and running in the first place, to be told that our auto was illegal, then legal, than illegal again. I am extremely proud of my students for how they handled themselves in the heat of the moment and for their perseverance. We still have areas of opportunity to improve upon and look forward to competing in two weeks at the North Star Regional.
A huge congrats to mentor Bill Goral who was my mentor when I was on team 93 in high school for winning the Woodie Flowers Finalist Award. Check out our 128 point solo score at https://youtu.be/tQ8-RCz-s5M (Originally 136, but 8 pts for RC auto was removed because the RC’s were over the line). A huge congratulations and well done to our alliance partners 2062 C.O.R.E and 2530 Inconceivable. Both teams performed exactly as the alliance needed and were vital to ensuring victory. As Dennis said, it has been too long that Wave and C.O.R.E have had an opportunity to work together. A few other thanks and congrats: Chairman’s Winners: 1306 BadgerBots. Engineering Inspiration Winners: 2169 King Tec 2338: Thank you for developing a well-rounded and functional scouting app for other teams to use. The data collected was invaluable and was extremely easy to process. Just a comment about alliance selections: Having experience as an emcee and a previous student who in 2004 had to decline an alliance at champs, alliance selections is a very exciting, yet nerve racking experience to be down on the field with a microphone shoved in your face. Let’s remember that the person down on the field is a student and let’s turn our attention to FIRST in hopes that they form an improved precedent. - Tyler |

I agree with Tyler that people should cut 2169 some slack. Many teams organize their selections by scenario, and I think everyone would agree the one he faced is pretty unusual.

Now that I've had time to go through data from all current events, 216 is the 12th highest score in the world and the 4th highest outside of Canada. |
Re: 2015 Wisconsin Regional
Congrats to 2826, 2062, and 2530 on the regional win! We were keeping a close eye on the Wisconsin results from CIR and rooting you guys on. It'll be great to catch up with all you guys in St. Louis since we were unable to compete with you in Wisconsin this year. Also, big shout out to 1306 for the much deserved Chairman's award. We will be looking for you guys in St. Louis, as well!

Re: 2015 Wisconsin Regional
A HUGE shout out to 2826 Wave and 2062 C.O.R.E.! Your teams were awesome to work with, and great partners for 2530 Inconceivable's first regional win ever!
Thank you, Wave for recognizing what we were capable of before we saw it in ourselves! C.O.R.E. - We've been close together before, but got it done this time. You guys are an inspiration both on and of the field. We are already planning improvements to "Tow Mater," our can-burglar mechanism and we look forward to seeing you in St. Louis! |
