Help Team 5036 get to the Windsor-Essex Great Lakes Regional
 

Hey Everyone!

This past weekend Team 5036 competed at the Greater Toronto East Regional, and held sixth seed for a good half of Friday. We had slight communication issues in our first few games and they increased as the competition went on.

It was slightly frustrating, since mechanically, and programming wise, everything was there for us to hold our own at the number 6 seed, but a stationary robot didn't help.

We believe we have diagnosed the issue to be the fuse for the VRM not being fully inserted into the PDP, and will fix it for another event. We're trying to register for the Windsor-Essex Great Lakes regional this year, in a bid to go to the World Championships two times in a row (we won Rookie All-Star last year), and need some financial help. We are contacting sponsors/local organizations for help, as well as our community, but we figured we'd approach the larger FRC community here on Chief.

It was great meeting the 5036 team this year as a machine judge. As a proud Laurier alum, I really hope you guys raise enough money to attend the Windsor regional. I'm looking forward to helping out in any way that I can for the upcoming season of FRC.
