placement of RCs for autonomous

Can you place RCs anyplace in the staging box or do they always have to be on the left end of the taped box as you look at it from the drivers station?

Always on the left end. See Section 2.3.2 of the Manual.

I will also note that if the RCs are not properly positioned, in location or rotation, Field Reset will proceed to reposition them into the right location prior to match start. (And that may involve you moving your robot.)

It says they will be placed to the left of the totes. What if the totes where not placed on the field for autonomous?

They still go there. I'm trying to find the Q&A that said containers couldn't be moved from their starting locations.

EDIT: Q375 is the closest. You move it, it gets moved back to normal start.

Same spot, same orientation.
