Hi, we're team 3339 BumbleB.
We have won the regional in Israel and we are attending the championship.
Due to safety reasons we are not allowed to bring batteries with us to the United States.
We look for teams who attend the Championship and can lend us a few, we will be very grateful.

I believe FIRST will have batteries available for International teams (2 per team?). Send them an e-mail to let them know you are coming and will need batteries.

2 batteries isn't enough for a competition. MAYBE this year with a low-energy robot. But in general, you want at least twice that.

Awesome to see so much sharing!

Just wanted to confirm that while I was reading the robot shipping instructions the document does say for international teams NOT to bring batteries, FIRST will provide them for you at Spare Parts. As someone said above it's always good to have more than just a couple, but at least you'll be covered either way.

2590 should be able to help as well, come find us if you don't have enough! We were running 16 chargers into 19 batteries (Now 18, one died ]: ) at some of our events to support multiple teams (i.e. at Hatboro Horsham districts, where they were rushing to get stuff done faster due to impending weather).

Team 1208 will have at least 10 batteries for teams traveling from abroad.

I would think the X-Cats, Team 191, can help you with batteries.

I'll communicate with our pit boss to see if we have any more to lend out. At this point I'm sure you'll have more than enough batteries but hey, how much can one more hurt?

Every battery more of what we need will go to another Israeli team :)
We have 7 Israeli teams at champs this year!

That's really cool of you guys. Is it just Israeli teams that can't bring batteries or is it everyone from overseas?

From Mexico we can't take batteries with us either. Fortunately the amazing FRC community has helped us with this issue in the past years. By the way, a big shoutout to team 314 Big MO, who helped us with them last year at Champs!

If any team is willing to help us this time, it will be more than welcomed (and not only to us, we're 11 teams attending from here so any extras are more than appreciated!)

I'll see if we can help you guys out in any way.
It would be great for the future (although things will definitely be more complex with there being TWO championships) if FIRST could work with AndyMark to loan out batteries to teams in need. I believe they already supply two(?) of them, and while that's great, teams definitely need more.

Perhaps we can be the ones to coordinate this. We'll be like battery gods.

It's not just Israel and Mexico, it's any international team. Batteries can't be shipped internationally outside of the USA and Canada.
