Re: Mayhem in Merrimack 2015

Hi, Dan. If we go to http://chopshop166.com/drupal/mayhem, it says nothing about registration not yet being open. And, if we click the "Click HERE to register" on that page, we're brought to a working registration page at http://www.chopshop166.com/drupal/team_registration (although there are hints that the page is antique).

Will all registrations before 5:00 PM on Monday April 20th, 2015 be discarded? If so, then you should probably make that clear on one of the above pages.

Thanks,
Dan

Re: Mayhem in Merrimack 2015

Well, we optimistically registered last Friday, and despite the "Registration will open at 5:00 PM on Monday April 20th, 2015" notice, our team (2713) has been added along with a number of others to the Mayhem in Merrimack page.

So, all you teams out there: get registering. (Then again, you might want to re-register at 5PM, in case the notice is real and these early registrations will be discarded...)

Not to worry. Registrations are being recorded and none that are made before 5:00 PM today will be disregarded.

Re: Mayhem in Merrimack 2015

I just wanted to say thank you to team 166 for running such an amazing event. I've never had more fun at any FRC event. I got to MC a competition for the first time and loved every second of it.

Congrats to my hometown team, 1058, along with 319 and 2713 for bringing home the win. It was so fun to watch you guys play.

I can't wait for MiM 2016!

Re: Mayhem in Merrimack 2015

I would like to extend a big thank you to everyone that came out yesterday to make Mayhem in Merrimack 2015 such a fun event! The energy in that gym during the final matches was unlike anything I have seen here and we have all of you to thank!

Congratulations to the winners 319, 1058, and 2713 and the finalists 1519, 1768, and 157 for putting on such an entertaining set of finals matches!

Jay and Brandon of 1058 were fantastic in their debut as an MC and game announcer duo and we look forward to working with the two of them in the future!

Have a great summer, everyone, and we hope to see you back here for Mayhem in Merrimack 2016!

Re: Mayhem in Merrimack 2015

This year's Mayhem was a wicked fun event! I was super impressed by the professionalism of everyone there. Everyone seemed like they had a blast, from students to coaches to volunteers.

On top of that, it was so fun to see 1058 win their first event of the year. Congrats to 319 and 2713 as well, it was a monster alliance! Thanks also to 1519, 1768, and 157 for some great finals matches.

Thanks to everyone especially Dan and the rest of 166 for making Jay and I's first announcing experience a great one! I hope to see you all next year.

By any chance, does anyone have a video of finals match 2?

Anyone know the alliances?

Congratulations 319, 1058, & 2713 on the win!

From memory:
1: 1519, 1768, 157
2: 319, 1058, 2713
3: 1073, 811, 3499
4: 238, 131, 1153
5: 1735, 166, 4546
6: 4906, 1729, 4555

I think that's right. Alliance Selections went 1-6 1-6 with no picking within the top 6. 3-6 played a preliminary round to decide the final 2 Semifinalists (3 and 5 seeds moved on). 1 and 2 seeds played in the finals.

If anyone has any match videos of the finals, please post them! We have all of 1058s matches except for the finals.

I had a really poorly recoded match of the last final match, but my phone's data got corrupted shortly after and I lost all my non-backuped pictures/video files

By the way, I wanted to say thanks for letting us borrow your Ethernet cable for a little while @ Mayham; until we eventually found ours... XD
