Nominal PWM Frequency for Talon SRX

What is the best PWM Frequency to use to operator a Talon SRX?

Presumably you're talking about for non-FRC purposes?

If it's for FRC, you should be using the WPI or NI libraries from the RoboRIO to do the interface, and this is way down on your "don't worry about it" list.

From page 5 of the Talon SRX User's Guide:

Quote:

PWM Input Pulse (High Time): 1 – 2 ms Nominal 0.6 – 2.4ms max
PWM Input Rate (Period): 2.9 – 100ms
If you're writing your own setup for a user operated device, I'd try to synchronize the joystick sampling rate to the PWM output rate; 60-100Hz is usually plenty for these purposes.
