Re: Chezy Champs 2015 - exciting news!

Having twice as many teams see half the great teams... 1/2 * 2 = 1?
Having twice as many winners with half the victory... 1/2 * 2 = 1?
Having "half the best in the west" twice... 1/2 * 2 = 1?

Oh wait, that doesn't work?!? Who'd have guessed inspiration doesn't multiply that way?

Thank you for the best post I've read in a long time.

Naw, Autobots and Decepticons would work better in my opinion.

But then we'd have winners and losers, and we can't have that, can we?

We are writing today with some exciting news!

Last summer, GameSense Coverage of Chezy Champs became a game changer in the FIRST world. Next year we'll be debuting

Chezy¢ in honor of the occasion.

Since we are going to have to split our broadcasting crew, we promise to bring you twice the coverage at half the quality...

If anyone could contact whoever does those 2 puppets and could get them to do actual match commentary for champs would be a GOD!

Ooh, ooh, I have an idea! We can get major corporations to sponsor post-cheezy-season events all over the country! The can go through a selection process where they invite from the top ranked teams to their venues. We could call it the Plate Championship Series (PCS). After all, we play on a flat surface. There would be four of them, and the "real" Einstein field would rotate among the plates each year. They could have names, like The National Instruments Labview Plate. Or the AndyMark Rivet Plate. Just think how much more fun that will be than allowing all the teams to compete head to head until one winning alliance remains.

Everyone should pay attention to this post. If Travus learned how to spell and grammarize just to tell us this, it must be important.

It's funny how FIRST is suddenly pushing "everyone is a winner" so much. If they want to push coopertition, why is almost every move they've made over the last few months seem to be in opposition to competition? (Also, enough finalist and winner medals for everyone on chairmans/regional winning teams would be nice, 45 medals for a 63-student team did not work well)

I think IRI should be thinking about how much more important they will be once all the powerhouses get split up at championships.

You almost had me until the part about the 400 teams and the volunteers. On a serious note, Chezy Champs was one of the best events I've ever attended, and we are really looking forward to attending again this year!
