Feel free to check it out and tell me if any information I have is wrong. I will continue adding info as I find out more.

Team 1785 will add a fast 2-canburglar for auto (working great on the duplicate bot). In autonomous (if we don't use our canburglar) we can carry 2 Totes/1RC to the autozone, ending autonomous with 2 yellow totes that are quickly added to the step for co-op - which has worked very well for us in our Regionals.
We primarily work the landfill and can do 3 stacks of 4 w/RC's, 2 stacks of 5, or (with help combining) 2 stacks of 6 w/RC's.

Hey Guys!

Sorry, my spreadsheet was giving me issues concerning editing in google docs, so I have made a copy that you can find here.

Team 836 is so excited to return to Archimedes!
As some may know (as witnessed by our good friends ROBOTZ Garage!) we had a tough time at our first regional. We decided at our second regional to do a complete make-over on the practice day at Chesapeake - turning one robot into two. We had a much better outing. We have been constantly iterating in the shop with the practice bot, and believe we are now ready to really compete with Odyssey and Aquarius!

For those who say, no video - it didn't happen ... here is a video of a practice run ...

To add to the pre-scouting, here is our info:
Auton - 0
Canburgler - N
HP only - with automated rampbot
Stack Number - 4
Stack Height - 5
Bins - Top 5/Build
Coop - No

See you Wednesday!

Team 1640

Primarily a human player station stacker. 3 stacker.
2 stacks of 6 with RC and a noodle. One 4, 5, or 6 stack with RC.
We want our RC's laying down. We do not use a ramp.
We can landfill if pressed to do it. Best would be 2 stacks of 6 with RC. 5 is more stable.

20 point auton, We have 2 different routines to place the stack at 2 different locations. One for quals and one for elims.

2 burglars. < 1 sec. We improved their speed from MAR Champs.

Team is pumped and looking forward to playing with teams from the rest of the country after competing with in MAR .
Good luck to everyone.

I like the addition of the humanoid robot on the field that straightens the stacks! Will he wear a team t shirt during the match??:D

I don't think he will make weight! Fortunately the competition bot stacker works better (and frankly, cheaper!) than the practice one!

See you tomorrow.

Looks awesome! Can't wait to see it firsthand. With the tether being held that high, have you seen any issues with it tangling? Looks to me like it'd make it easier for another robot to get caught on it.

Good Luck and see y'all tomorrow!

Here is video for LASER 3284's 8 pt can auton with practice bot. Should stay out of way of a 20 pt auton or a can burglar robot in middle of the field.

I feel you.

Fortunately, yesterday was the last day we'd be using the practice robot!

Hey guys, Team 2655 here. This is our second year in a row in Archimedes, and we're super excited to be joining you all again! We're about 3 hours out, but we thought we'd add to the pre-scouting info:
Team 2655 The Flying Platypi Robot Specs

•Drivetrain
o Mecanum Drive with independent four wheel suspension
o Drive system dependent on a gyro – field oriented driving with built-in overrides if needed
• Chain Lift
o Four tote lift, individual hooks for each tote
• -Can make up to a six stack
o Single can lift hook, can pick up RCs when standing up or sideways
• -Can put cans on top of a five stack or below
• Multiple Autonomous Routines
o Three tote stack auto
o Tote + RC auto
o Pull two cans off the step auto
o Drive only auto
• “Dragon Tail”
o Fiberglass rods with hooks on the end that can grab two cans on the step simultaneously and pull them over to our side of the field.
• Pi LEDs on the side of the robot

Here are some links to videos of our Demo Bot

https://youtu.be/FckxiOTVp7o --- Capping a 5 stack with a RC.

https://youtu.be/7F2J3asgPqA --- Three tote Auto

https://youtu.be/aUK3BrNvXXQ --- Moving RC's off the step to our side of the field.

Re: 2015 Archimedes Division

Hi, great idea for the pre scouting sheet. Correction for team 201: number stacks: 3 at height of 4. 6 stack is possible but efficient at 4 stack. 4 stacks also possible.

Thanks for your work!

Anyone posting match videos?

Our multimedia team recorded most all the matches, full field, and will hopefully begin posting videos on our team youtube channel. I record closeup video of our matches for troubleshooting in the pit. There is a playlist of our qual matches on my personal youtube channel.

I'd absolutely love it to see the match videos, especially eliminations!

There was a mix up, and we didn't end up recording match videos as we planned.

I can go through and submit to TBA if you get them uploaded.
