Re: 2015 Galileo Division
This will be a lot of fun, with plenty of great teams to go out and talk to over the course of the event. I know I'm going to the National Advocacy Conference hosted by Team RUSH so I'll certainly be talking with them to get a little more details on what to expect. I also can't wait to see Team 1011 again after seeing them win Engineering Inspiration at the Colorado Regional, along with their own Hannah Baez winning the Dean's List Finalist award.
Good luck to all teams involved. It's going to be a blast! |

Re: 2015 Galileo Division
Does anyone have/want to create a list of "can-burglar" robots for the Galileo division with how many they can take during auton?

Re: 2015 Galileo Division
My Team isn't in Galileo, but the team we won Colorado with is, 1619. So I thought I would check it out. It will be scary if 2056 and 1619 or 2056 and 1690 are part of an alliance! 2056 can work the landfill getting 2-3 stacks of 6 capped. And 1619 can get 3 stacks of 6 capped from the human player station. And 1690 can get 2 or 3 stacks of 6 from the human player station as well. 2056 has a pretty fast 2 can burglar, so doing 5 stacks capped shouldn't be a problem is they are with a team that can do 2-3 stacks of 6 capped.

Team 1777, Viking Robotics, added a can burglar for the GKC finals, but is also working on improvements.
|
Re: 2015 Galileo Division
Don't forget-- there are a lot of teams planning to make changes to their robot and bringing in can burglars. If the addition is made at home, in your shop, it must be included in the 30lbs carry in limit. (again, IF made at home) If you fabricate and install at CMPS, you can bypass the 30 lbs carry in. (In other words carry in COTS parts and raw material and make it in the pit)). Either way, you still have to re inspect once you add it.
This message brought to you by your friendly neighborhood Galileo LRI. I am looking forward to working with all of you to provide the best experience possible and send an alliance to Einstein! GALI---- |

Here is a preview of Team 2052 KnightKrawler's robot before champs(regular match video).
Our best performances so far have been matches where we created 2 6 stacks and capped them both(one cap with a noodle and one without for 78 pts). We'll be working on noodling the second cap on practice day. |

A little blast from the past. First 40 seconds or so are the relevant portion, the rest is just a bonus:)

Re: 2015 Galileo Division
Here is a Google sheet that we can use to compile a list of can-burglars for the Galileo divison. I will add to it based on what Team RUSH has prescouted, but if you are a/know of a team that has one that isn't on the list, please add it! Also, if the information is not correct, you are welcome to change it.
