Has anyone uploaded any match video to youtube or watchfirstnow or anywhere else? Some of us are stuck at work during the days and would love to see some robot action!

The wifi at World Champs is not available in the Dome or the pits, and where it is available it is not reliable. Teams probably won't be able to upload any footage they took todau until they get to their hotels later tonight, which might be a while. Opening Ceremonies should be starting soon, and then teams will probably get dinner before going back to their hotels.

After day 1.

You can be ranked 8th on Archie with QA of 121. OR You can be ranked 41st on Curie with a QA of 121. LOL

Crazy.

Looks like the data was finally updated. Is somebody running around with a flash drive doing it manually? I can't fathom how things can be this bad.

I'm still waiting for Tesla's data. Also Carson and Galileo.

The local data was fine; the issue was syncing the results to the online server.

I'm aware of that, hence my comment.

The lack of live updates is pretty ridiculous. I'd really like to read a blog post in a few weeks about what went wrong with their datafeeds this year (both for the week 1 issues, and these).

OTOH, I've done something massively hacky to keep TBA as up to data as we can. I'm not proud of it, but it works...

I've got an excel sheet that imports the web data into a workbook and updates every hour. Then I wrote a python script to take the workbook and generate 8 csv files that we can manually import into TBA.

Fun, right?

No. No you don't.

Slightly related, where can I find a list of the Dean's List winners? I only heard the last 5 that they announced.

Don't forget what happened with FIRST's systems going down during the finals of the Pacific Northwest District Championship and for a few hours after that. It made them unable to announce who had advanced to worlds even after attempting to draw out the closing ceremony to give time to get things back online. Then, since they didn't know everyone who was advancing they wouldn't give out shipping information to anyone - even to the teams who were obviously in.

It looks like all the data from yesterday is available now. We'll see if it gets kept updated throughout the day.
