3D Printed Parts

1 Attachment(s)
Hey!

So the Aztechs 157 team 3D printed a LOT of parts this year, and some of them might be useful to other teams, so I felt like sharing!

This is a picture of the CAD model of our Battery Holder. It was a light-weight, sturdy option to hold the battery securely. All you need is mounting holes on your bot and you can use it!

I'l be posting more pictures of the CAD models later, and if you're interested in the CAD file PM me! I'm happy to share!

Cool! The Astechz team 2994 will look into this ;) :D

(Were you at Worlds? Would have been fun for our teams to meet!)

We printed a battery mount last year, and with the amount of defense it basically disintegrated. You're design is a little more elegant, but if you print in PLA, and next year has some contact again...I'd be careful.

Also, if you post your item on Thingiverse, there is someone (I don't know who it is) who seems to find them and gather them all into a nice convenient robotics collection. I've posted a few things, and often within hours he or she has discovered the item and tagged it to the collection.
