ok squad heres the deal: we won the world championship ezpz (jk rolling wave almos beat us) so we wanna make the game more excitin. there isnt any D-fence nd nobuddy likes 2 scout. wheres the fun in that?

-on each alliance theres 2 recycle rush bots nd 1 ariel assult wit 1 exersize ball
-theres the truss on top of da step
-in teleop u can throw balls acros da field (but not in da last 20 secins)
-if u throw a ball under da truss and hurt another robot that's a big foul nd mayb a red card bcuz we r all friends at robnot rumble
-tems can keep throwin balls back n forth, so timin nd positionin is all strategy now
-free cheezykayke 4 evry1 who attends
-free corndogs but only 4 hard (t)werking mentrs

who says recyclin aint fun?

900 is totally down for these rules. Our robot from 2014 can assault some stacks. The havoc that this could cause would be awesome! We love it!

2014 was a year ago, what happened to it? We still have our 2013 robot, and 2014 robot but our 2012 robot was taken apart a long time ago.

We disassemble our robots each year, apparently. I don't think we have room to store it.

Some teams have budget and space constraints and can't afford to keep their robots around for more than the season.

Our 2014 robot was scrapped to build our 2015 robot. Our 2013 robot is only a hollow shell of its former self, which was in turn built from bits and pieces recovered from our 2012 robot. We can't afford, either in terms of space or resources, to keep old robots laying around.

Our only robot left functional is our 2012 one, which we use for demos. Our 2013 one could be rebuilt, because it's just a test chassis right now, but our 2014 robot was sacrificed to make B.E.N.

I say throwing frisbees or basketballs at the stacks works too.

This was the first year where we didn't disassemble our previous years bot. We had just about enough resources, and we couldn't reuse the control system anyways! :D

This brings me to a major concern, we picked the worst year to do this because we switched control systems between this season and last season. Either we require all 2014 bots to upgrade, or we create some crazy hybrid FMS to deal with both cRIO and roboRIO protocols concurrently.

Or you don't, and just have people enable the bots manually. Some of the off-season events I've been to do that and it works great.
