Whoa, that is beautiful. Sounds like these matches are going to be intense. Glad that the litter is basically sealed in, too.

As an East Coaster with school to attend, I'm really really hoping that there is a good stream of this. I can't wait for this to happen! :D

Might want to change 11 and 12 from "Alliance Members" to "Alliance Drive Teams"

Alliance members may contact the chute door and totes simultaneously.

This effectively eliminates the chute door as one HP can hold the door open while another feeds totes into the chute. Any plans to physically get rid of the door altogether?

Not a bad idea, that. Speaking from the perspective of someone dealing with this at a pre-season event, I think the tote landing was more consistent.

1) Are the extra 3 RCs allowed to be in contact with a robot? Can they be supported, fully or otherwise, by a robot? Do the original RCs have to be within the staging zones, as per the official FRC rules?

2) When will the corn dog food truck be on campus?

That was the original thought, but someone pointed out that some robot designs might depend on the door existing, to control tote velocity or the like. What we are going with seems like a good compromise.

There's no restriction on how the extra RCs can be placed or what they can contact. You just obviously can't put them in the auto zone get a free container set. The original RCs have to be in compliance with the official rules, though like IRI we won't make a fuss about teams adjusting them while setting up.

Time to special case Chezy Champs on The Blue Alliance... :p

To whom to do we make checks payable? Although we won't know the application status until June 9th, I need to put a check request in with the school while we're still in session, which only lasts another week, in order to make the July payment deadline.

Thanks.

Thank you.

You can make checks payable to Bellarmine College Prep. We'll also be providing a credit card option for teams who prefer that.

G24 ROBOTS may not cause TOTES, RECYCLING CONTAINERS, and/or LITTER to completely transfer from their side of the FIELD,
or from the STEP, onto the opposite side of the FIELD.
VIOLATION: FOUL. If egregious or strategic, RED CARD and offending ROBOT will be DISABLED.
I'll throw this out there since we're not going.

With the chute door held open would a passive mechanism using only bearings (think flat 254 ramp) allow you to throw totes onto the other side of the field at your opponents by slamming them through the chute door as hard as you possibly can? Can a human throw it hard it enough to knock over a stack? My guess is this wouldn't work, but boy do I want to see someone try.

Also, gaurd rail blocking still sounds legal.

Yellow totes are counted as gray totes when scored on the scoring platform, during the entire tournament.
Does this mean alliances will get to battle over the completed co-op stacks? I know it's horrible, yet for some cruel reason I still really want to see it happen. :o

We are updating the wording of #4 to take care of that:
Quote:

4. During the autonomous period, robots may not contact the two recycling containers on the left side of the step (when viewed from the alliance station), or attempt to prevent the opposing alliance from doing so. Violation: Red card.

I strongly recommend that any teams thinking about doing this actually try it first.
