967 Robot showcase from Worlds
 

We used a small touch screen this year at worlds to show people how our robot worked and our design processes. It also has our entire build blog on it.

We used an HTML based software for the creation of this, our 2 FTC teams are also on the home page.

Hi guys, I would like to know what mechanism did you use to open both arms of the bin holder with only one pneumatic cylinder. Thanks! great work.:D

We have the cylinder at the back of the two arms, then we have a pivot point at the top of the elevator a few inches away from the cylinder. If we did just that both arms would open but they would sway back and forth, so we added a cross bar that crosses over the pivot point on each side the same amount to keep it square and opening equally.

in the picture you can see that the bar on top is a bit in front of the pivot and on the opposite side it is a bit behind the pivot.
