This was the FIRST test for the flying kitbot for the 2020 season of FRC. There are some control issues being assessed.

Proposed IRI field modification:

Each panel of player station window needs to have the silhouette of either a Predator drone or an AA ("flack") battery.

[NPOE] Wow, yet another year of caption contests. Note that this has been going on since I became a mentor for 1676 the year of Triple Play, Billfred was still in college, and some FLL (and all Jr FLL) kids hadn't been born yet.

This year, Taylor has an insurmountable lead. Best I can hope for is 4th, maybe EricH will pass me... [NPOE]

Actually, if you want to split hairs: when the first contest went up, I hadn't even started college yet. It was about six weeks prior. ;)

I'll save the big stats for the judging as I do at the end of a year, but Mike is in a three-way tie for third place in the wins column year-to-date. So there are some people that I do like better...though with 14 second-places, I suppose he must be alright. ;)

New entry (grounds of half the other folks out there having the same idea):

A drone is a collection of revolving parts that go round and round. Drones don't really fly; they're just so ugly that the ground repels them. The air doesn't like them either, but can't do anything until the ground's view is blocked by a waste receptacle. *CRASH*

The drone just failed the clear plastic detection test. If the FRC driver stations were polycarbonate instead of acryilc, the drone would have passed the test.
