Seven stack at MidKnight Mayhem... With a twist

Thanks 869 for showing us the best stack of the day.

Was that scored as six points, or eight?:p

Midknight Mayhem had a rule change allowing for stacks of seven in one elimination match per alliance, so I believe it was counted as seven. Not sure though.

Do you happen to have a video of it? I'd be very interested in seeing how that one happened! :)

It was rightfully counted as zero points.

The most important part of this picture is the ref in the background.

I don't have a video, but I know that it's QF2-2.

I hadn't noticed that even their numbers were upside down.

Thanks for bringing the Mayhem, 869. :)

If I remember correctly there were something like 18 fouls called on the red alliance that match so I think its safe to say they took the Mayhem in MidKnight Mayhem to heart.

That's how we always build stacks in Australia.... ;)

They're fricking legends. Right after they did that, each member of the alliance's drive teams (including the 869's coach) took a noodle and threw it. I don't really care how many points they got, but it was the best thing that has ever happened at Mayhem.

BTW, shout out to 869 for helping us so much during set-up and clean-up! These guys are an amazing team both off and on the field!

So just wanted to weigh in on this. We knew going into this that we were not going to earn a ton of points if we did the inverse stack but we decided to have a bit of fun at an off season that is based around crazy exciting stuff happening. Our video team finally got the footage uploaded. Check out that match at the link below. Let us know what you think! :)

I was surprised 869 could do it. Every match, they stack three totes from the landfill, stack another three with a can on top, then put it atop the first stack. Every time. I've scouted them at three events this year. They ALWAYS do it this way.
