Very excited for the increased options on NeverRest motors. Those were fantastic last year and I know my team will love having more options.

I believe this is because these two models of the NeveRest come with PowerPoles attached.

* Note: BRAND new to the FTC world, so bear with me! *

If I use the VEX 393 Motor, can I use the VEX Motor Controller 29 (p/n 276-2193) in addition to the motor controller unit in the kit, or can I only use the kit MC unit?

BTW, thank you for posting these specs and links--this will be very handy!!

Controller power limits, maximum of two 393 DC motors per Servo
Controller).
 Each VEX EDR 393 DC motor with Motor Controller 29 is counted as a
single DC motor (and not a servo).

Re: [FTC]: All Motors - Legal for 2015-2016 (Links/Pricing/Specs)

Modern Robotics Inc. (Matrix Robotics) hasn't published specs for the Matrix 12V gear-motor. I like this motor a lot with the planetary gears, which are typically more efficient and durable than the spur gears used by AndyMark and Tetrix. I did some preliminary testing and posted results here: http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/sh...61&postcount=7 with a drawing of dimensions.
