My work is blocking the webcast and most of the blue alliance, where is it being streamed / what channels so I can pull it up on my phone?

Re: IRI 2015 Webcast

Everything is fine except for the full field camera which seems to blur at the edges. I do not know if that is just a camera thing or if it can be fixed.

Sorry, I have to be at work (which is why I can't watch Livestream). I guess I'll have to wait until the video archives are posted on IndianaFIRST's YouTube.

Livestream Automatically Archives the entire stream so it should be up tonight on the Livestream webpage (I Think, Don't Quote Me on that). Also IRI is one of the coolest events I have gone to.

Anndd the score of 300 was broken for the first time at IRI. 318 points by 624, 3824, and 1756 during Qualification match 13..

But they have modified rules...

Impressive though!

Very impressive match, but I do want to see 300 broken in playoffs or without coopertition points added. We were so close at CMP with 299.

Edit: 290 not 299

299? I believe the closest was 290 in Hopper in the semis.

Also: DANG this is way better than normal recycle rush.

Yeah, without coop will be even more impressive.

I believe the highest score for Recycle rush(during the actual season) was 290, not 299, but it was still close to breaking it.

Who is announcing at IRI? It's certainly an interesting take on announcing. Very conversational. I like the occasional math analysis, but he can be pretty negative as well.

The commentary is certainly interesting.. he called 3130's drive team "The most single bachelors at this event". After autonomous during Quals 23 the blue alliance didn't do anything during auto so the announcer said "On the blue there wasn't a whole lot that happened, but hey what's new, it's 2015."

Never heard this sort of commentary before, but it cracks up the viewers kinda xD

Anyone know if they counted the stack with the yellow tote on top. Thought yellows only count in stacks during playoffs...

I think they only counted the 5 gray totes under the yellow tote. The yellow tote and the recycling container did not count.

RKazmer 17-07-2015 14:25

Re: IRI 2015 Webcast

So it looks like with a ramp Simbotics(1114) could potentially do 4 capped stacks. If they didn't have to deal with the yellow totes at the start of the match.

Simbotics seems to be having some driving trouble today. Not sure if they have a new driver, but that might be it. If they pick up their game I really think a Simtaters alliance could win the whole thing, they would use all 7 bins by themselves.

Kudos to 2122 for really bringing it hard at IRI, I know every match you guys play in will be a good match to watch!

Im unable to really keep watch of IRI, and i more or less do not want to watch every single match until i really get a chance to. Anybody have suggestions for what matches are "Must Watches?" (i know there's another hour or so of matches, but i want to get a list started sooner than later.)

For starters, match 13 set the two highest scores of the event at the time (one over 300), and it was fun to watch. Blue alliance in 25 also went over 300.

He's one of NEFirst's best MC's (in my opinion). I got to be scorekeeper at NE DCMP this past season and I couldn't stop laughing the entire time he was doing his thing. You have to take some of his comments lightly though, he's pretty sarcastic. :p

I believe 1114 and 67 both got yellow cards for propping the chute door.

Update: And it appears that 234 just got one for humans entering the field too soon after the match was over.

I'm trying to follow along while on vacation in Alaska and haven't been able to find achieved matches either. Is IRI not live clipping and uploading this year?

It is not edited or clipped, but Friday matches are located here:

Yes but livestream doesn't transcode as far as I can tell and watching HD video on a 1 Mbps WiFi connection in Fairbanks Alaska doesn't work.

Congrats to 2056, 1023, 1806, and 2502 for winning IRI!

The finalist alliance composing of 118, 2826, 1640, and 67 put up a good fight. The last match had a 7 point difference.. That was a true IRI final.

2502 becomes the first MN team to win IRI! #MNProud

Last year the matches uploaded immediately after the match finished because we(PNW AV crew) were running the stream. This year the stream is being run by a different group, I believe in an effort to prepare Indiana volunteers for the new live stream setup.

I watched from the start of the finals to the final match. Wow 7 points! The stream was good, only a few minor dropouts. Loved the interview segments. I didn't know that 118 built a robot for under $1000 as an example to other teams.

Congrats to 2056, 1023, 1806, and 2502 for winning IRI!

And congrats to the finalist alliance composing of 118, 2826, 1640, and 67.

Hugely impressed with our local team, 1640 Sab-bot-age. Very impressive, I remember the first year of "Oh Wow, we got accepted" to this year of "Oh Wow, we made the FINALS!!" Nice job!!

Mastonevich 18-07-2015 20:24

Are the awards posted anywhere?

Congrats to the winning alliance. This was 2056's third consecutive IRI win. That is incredible. A few more IRI wins and their regional win streak won't even be their most impressive stat.

Re: IRI 2015 Webcast

Sab-BOT-age's sincerest thanks to teams 118 Robonauts (Captain) and 2826 Wave Robotics for inviting us to join the 3rd alliance at IRI! And a big shout-out to team 67 Heroes of Tomorrow for completing the alliance. Together we finished Indiana Robotics Invitational as Finalists in a close, hard-fought match.

Congratulations to the winners: 2056, 1023, 1806 & 2502 on their well-deserved victory.

Re: IRI 2015 Webcast

Wow. IRI was awesome. Thanks to 1310 for picking us along with 2468 and 4039. We very much enjoyed getting picked for an alliance. We had a great run.

Also, congratulations to 2056 for winning IRI for a third year in a row. It's incredible that you guys have beaten world champions for two of the three years to keep your streak alive. 1023, congratulations on the win and showing that you were a force to be reckoned with this year, and the same thing to 1806. 2502, congratulations on becoming the first Minnesotan team to win IRI!
