Posted by Tim Baird at 04/20/2001 1:48 PM EST
Engineer on team #190, Gompei, from Massachusetts Academy of Math and Science and WPI. On march 30, Dean came to give a talk at a math and science convention at WPI. Afterwards, with a little convincing, he took time out of his busy schedule to come and play crud(it's an airforce game) on the pool tables in our student center. Check them out. Tim Baird |

So some of us here at WPI are willing to challenge any team who's coming to Battlecry to learn CRUD and play with us.. (either Friday or Saturday night prolly).. if we get the tables.. who would be willing to take us on in this wonderful team-building experience.. Trying to build interest, so who would be interested in doing this?? It'll be fun ;-) ========================================== Battlecry@WPI 2 June 23rd 2001 Harrington Auditorium |

The Best game in the world

Posted by Patrick Dingle on 04/20/2001 6:21 PM EST: It's probably the best game in the world. It's an airforce game with a million and one made up rules and a combination of finesse, moderate strength, a good memory, and childish taunting. All for the making of a great game. Anyone who doesn't play when they come to WPI for BattleCry is missing have the fun. What could be better than a 2x2 comp and a game of crud? Tim Baird (other wise known as Hamster while playing crud) PS-check out the original post up above to see some pics of Dean playing crud with us! : alright... what is CRUD???????? : Patrick |
Rules for Crud

Posted by Patrick Dingle on 04/20/2001 6:21 PM EST: If you go to the page you should get a good feel for what the game is like. Don't forget though this is an Air Force game so the rules change form place to place. For example you will need a crud name and I did not see that listed. Only those who have played can give you a name so don't plan on getting a certain name. Hope to be seeing you at the Crud tables at Battle Cry.
