Always a fun event hopefully team 1058 can be in attendance.

Also myself and a few other students on 1058 are always willing to help let us know if there is anything that we could do to help.

RiverRage 19 is now only about 20 days away, and it's shaping up to be a great event!

The team list on the website is periodically updated, so if your team has registered but is not shown on the following list, it should be after the next update. According to the RiverRage website these are the teams currently registered so far:

88- TJ Squared
131- C.H.A.O.S.
190- Gompei and the H.E.R.D.
237- Black Magic Robotics
238- The Cruisin' Crusaders
319- Big Bad BOB
348- Norwell Robotics
467- Shrewsbury Colonials
501- The PowerKnights
509- Red Storm
811- The Cardinals
1073- The FORCE Team
1474- The Master Link Militia
1517- The Lumberjacks
1519- Mechanical Mayhem
1729- Monadnock 4-H Robotics

3467- Windham Windup
3499- River's Edge Robotics
3958- Schrodinger's Cat

We look forward to seeing you there!

Welcome to FRC, great to see some new FRC teams showing up in New Hampshire!

Has 5813 been building a robot for this event?

Thanks, Brendan. :)

Yes, we have been working hard for several weeks now on an off-season robot. If you're attending River Rage, you can come to our pit and see it. :P

I've actually been on a team before. I used to be the HP of 1517 (the one with the pirate hat), so you may remember me. ;)

Yes, I'll be helping out a little with 1058 this year but not nearly as much as I was involved with 3467.

At previous RiverRage events we have had a Halloween themed game-play rule change, this year is no different. This year's game-play rule change is the "Great Pumpkin Recycling Container" and the rule specifics are as follows:

-A Great Pumpkin (orange colored Recycling Container) will be randomly placed in one of the four positions on the Step in the center of the field *after* all robots are placed on the field. Placement is determined by drawing a location (1-4) from the smaller Great Pumpkin.

-Scoring: 20 extra points if scored (on top of a Tote stack, with or without a noodle).

See you Saturday!

Very excited to drive down from Clarkson this weekend to MC at River Rage! It looks like a great group of teams and we're back at Memorial!

And I get to miss the first snow up here. So that's nice too.

Re: RiverRage 19

Hey everyone! 5813 is excited to participate in River Rage 19! While we were finishing up our robot tonight, we realized that we don't have enough of this particular pneumatic fitting:
www.andymark.com/product-p/am-2039.htm

We need about 10 of them for our can manipulation to function (the rest of the robot will function without them), and we would be super grateful if any team that's attending could bring extras for us to borrow. If anyone can help, that would be awesome. See you all tomorrow.

I can't guarantee that 1058 brought their pneumatics box, but if they did you can go to their pit to ask!

If not then don't worry. We will find you the parts you need.

Also you should check out the group "FRC New Hampshire Alliance" on Facebook!

Jay, thank you for the wonderful offer, but we were unfortunately not able to complete our robot in time for today's event, but we will be working on completing our robot for 319's Battle of the Bay event in November.

Good luck, everyone! I hope 1519, 1058, and 3467 (and the rest) do amazingly today. ;)

Thanks again, Jay. ;)

Some of us that have been doing this thing called FIRST Robotics for awhile tend to get blasé about it. The DJ at RiverRage had never seen a competition before and was so impressed that he blogged about it, read what he had to say about the students.

We wanted to say thanks again to the organizers of RiverRage 19. You guys did a great job! You kept it on schedule, it was just really well run from beginning to end. Our team really enjoyed the day.

Jay, you did a great job as emcee! Thanks for making the trek down from Potsdam for the weekend, and best of luck as you continue your education at a great school! My wife and I are class of 1987 (and have a nephew who is a freshman there now.)

Same last name, same college...the similarities just keep coming! Thanks for the kind words.

It just occurred to me that I'm not aware if anyone won any costume awards. Were any awarded this year? I've looked at the RiverRage website and the rest of this thread and wasn't able to find anything.

Team 238 won both costume awards, as voted on by volunteers. The awards were given out during eliminations (before semifinals I think?)
