[FTC]: Robot in 1 Weekend is back!

We are happy to announce we will once again be assembling a team of alumni and mentors to produce a FTC Robot in 1 Weekend!

YAY! My team will be watching. We are in charge of a few workshops at kickoff, which won't allow us to run an event like this, as much as we wanted to!

I'm excited to see the outcome of this event again. After I return from the ACT that morning I will be watching the entire time.

If you need any type of remote assistance I should be available.

Looking at this year's Ri1W Team:

In addition to the professional mentors, we have a slew of college students joining us thanks to the Florida FIRST Alumni. Included in the list are
  • UCF
  • Valencia
  • Pasco-Hernando
  • Embry Riddle
  • Florida Polytechnic
  • University of Florida
  • Florida Tech
  • Georgia Tech

These mentors represent over 15 FRC and FTC teams.

Question for everyone: What type of video would you like the Ri1W to produce? We find out what the game is at the same time as everyone else, but we will have access to an official field late Saturday. If you have questions about the field or game pieces at that time, please let us know.

Questions about game rules should be directed to the official FTC Q&A Forum.

My two teams also have access to an official field, starting on Kickoff day if you would like to ask. Let Barry and I know. I can answer if Barry is busy.

Re: [FTC]: Robot in 1 Weekend is back!

Does Robot in 1 Weekend inspire students?
Could a design based on Ri1W make it all the way to the World Championship Event?
What could a Ri1W robot look like if it had months to tweak and improve the design?

FTC Team 4017 RoboPandas from Floral Park New York answer those questions. Great work FTC 4017!
