Iowa Regional!!
 

The Iowa Regional is happening March 23-26 2016 (the weekend after the FTC North Super Regional!). Come up and play with some of your favorite Iowa teams like 167, 525, 648, 967, 3928, 4646, 5041, 5537, & 5576! Looks like there's gonna be 50 spots opened up and I'm sure they'll fill up pretty quickly. We are going to be having some pretty cool things going on I think :) Don't forget to pack your SHOVEL to dig your robot out of the snow bank ;)

This is going to be amazing. See us in Cedar Falls at the University of Northern Iowa. What a rush planning for this event.

Message me if you're looking for more help on the planning team, as I'd gladly help out where I can with pre-planning. I came up with a huge marketing activity that I think Andy is working on pursuing, which I'm looking forward to even MORE than the regional (is that even possible?!?!) :D

I should add that the video screen you see in the dome is about 100 ft wide and 26 ft tall and is right above the pits.

Kinda surprised we aren't just using the uni dome for pits/field with that BIG video screen (& I would think that we'd be able to cut costs in half for just using 1 facility vs 2) but I think it will be great either way :)

We think watching matches in the McLeod Center will be better than watching matches in the Dome - lots of seats with great visibility to the field. The pits should have a good view of the matches with that giant video screen in the Dome.

If anyone happened to see clips from the UNI / UNC basketball game yesterday - that was the McLeod Center where we will have the field for the Iowa Regional.

1810 will be there! It looks like many awesome teams are attending, and we cannot wait to talk to as many of you as we can. Several other teams from the Kansas City area are attending.

According to the FRC site, there will be a team from Brazil (1156) and 3 teams from China (5306, 5308, 5823) in attendance. B)
