Random: Best FIRST away-messages?
Posted by Jessica Boucher at 04/25/2001 6:32 PM EST
Student on team #237, Sie-H2O-Bots, from Watertown High School and Eastern Awning Systems & The Siemon Company. Come on, admit it - you've all used/seen them at some point. For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about...away-messages are shown when an aol or aim member is away from the computer or can't be bothered (a little yellow post-it note will pop up next to their name to indicate if they're away). If you im that person, the away message will pop up, and your im is held until that person returns. I'm an avid fan for interesting away messages, but even better are interesting FIRST messages. Soooo, what are some of your favorites? -Jessica B, #237 PS - My fav: "Noooo, silly, I don't wanna watch Silly, I wanna watch Philly" (conversation over whether to watch the Silicon Valley Regional or the Philadelphia Regional) |
