San Diego Regional Dates
 

Does anyone know why on the FIRST website it lists the date for the San Diego Regional as the 31st of December 2016?

Might be a good time to play around with the forum search (in the orange bar at the top of the page, where it says "search"). This was just being addressed in http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/sh...137355&page=15--which happens to be the thread next to this one on the portal.

Long story short: They're still working on the dates. Rumor is Week 6, maybe week 5.5 or 6.5--but that's "under discussion". So, I suspect they put that as a placeholder to allow teams to register for the event (while they work on the exact dates).

The latest dates that got sent out to SD Lead Mentors has it early Week 2. Mar 7 - 9. They'll probably put out an official announcement early this week about their decision, although its pretty late in the game.

We'll see what happens.

Dates have changed unofficially. If you are a SoCal team you should have received an email regarding the change.

It looks like it will be a standard week one regional. But, as always, its not official until it is on FIRST.

Dave B did a great job of getting the venue down in time for the first round. What a nail biter. FIRST Team Paradox will be there as one of the local north county teams. I get to sleep in late;)
