67 is #1 in my book. Even this past year, in what could be considered a "down season" for HOT, they ended up 13 points away from Einstein. They've reached the division finals in each of their past four seasons. With the possible exception of this past season, I would put HOT as the favorite in a 1-on-1 match-up with just about any other elite robot in FRC (or as best as it could be approximated, depending on game).

I'm pretty biased but 1538 has had a balanced run on and off the field over the past 5 years

2011
Regional win, RCA, champs division semis

2012
RCA, WFFA

2013
Regional win, RCA, CCA, champs division finals

2014
Champs division quarters

2015
Two regional finals, champs division quarters

+ a slew of other awards

I'm not sure about other years but you, as in your team, were one of the best robots this year. Putting up 3-5stacks consistently at worlds was good and was a major reason your alliance won on Einstein.

In each year, we've been able to grab a robot as our 2nd pick in the 24th spot that should have been another alliance's #1 pick: 862 in 2013, 1640 in 2014 and 1671 in 2015. Add 148, 1114 and 118 to that mix and playing with 3 #1 picks on an alliance is a big advantage. This year each of us only had to put up 2 stacks to get up 6 total. It made it much easier, and one of us could pick up the slack as 1671 did in our first semifinal. But thanks for the kudos.:o
